Figures released by the Bureau of Statistics show since 2001, the northern suburbs of Gungahlin, Dunlop and Amaroo had the largest population increase, with between 2,000 and 4,000 people moving into each suburb.
The Gungahlin Region is located in the northern part of the Australian Capital
Territory (ACT), and is approximately 15km from the Central Business District (CBD) of Canberra.
